For years, I believed physical work was enough to keep me fit. A return to open-water swimming eventually led to two 10 km charity swims, a book and a lasting commitment to staying active. When a serious shoulder injury took swimming away from me, a new journey began: learning how to recover patiently, rebuild properly and regain the freedom to choose what I do next.
Begin at your own level, respect your recovery and keep moving towards the life you want to live.
